Yes, most fireplace mounts work fine. The issue is usually heat — we install heat-rated brackets and recommend a full-motion mount so the TV can tilt down and away from rising heat. If your fireplace runs hot and often, we'll tell you honestly whether it's a good idea or not for your setup.
Either way works. If you want a specific brand (Sanus, Echogear, Rocketfish), buy it. If you don't care, we supply a quality mid-grade mount for $45 added to the job. We never install the flimsy mounts that come free with some TVs — they're not stud-rated.
Yes. We use in-wall cable kits that are code-compliant (regular extension cords are NOT legal to run inside walls — common DIY mistake). Adds about $85 and is the cleanest look. Alternative: a paintable raceway on the wall surface is $40 cheaper and faster.
Yes. Patio TV installs require weatherproof mounts, outdoor-rated cable routing, and sometimes weatherproof power access. We have experience with Samsung Terrace, SunBriteTV, and similar outdoor-rated models. Indoor TVs used outdoors will fail — be honest about what the TV is rated for.
