Small sheds (up to 8x10) yes. Larger sheds that need permits are outside our scope — we refer to licensed general contractors. Most customers want either a kit assembly or a repair — both we handle directly.
Small pads (up to 4x4 ft) for anchoring posts or setting AC units, yes. Full foundation pours for sheds over 100 sqft need a concrete contractor — we coordinate with trusted partners.
Depends entirely on how it's anchored. A kit pergola with surface-mount brackets won't survive a Category 2 wind event. Properly installed with concrete-set post anchors 24+ inches deep, it can survive up to 90 mph sustained winds. We always install for real Gulf Coast wind ratings — not for the advertised 'light breeze' the kit expects.
Yes, as an add-on. Cedar and redwood we recommend just sealing (preserves the color). Pressure-treated we recommend staining once the wood fully dries — usually 3-6 months after install.
We offer basic design consultation (layout, materials, sizing) but we're not landscape architects. For full backyard designs, work with a NOLA landscape designer first, then we execute the build.
